Pakistan Backstabbed By USA
Pakistani people paid the heavy price of loyalty of leaders to United States of America.
Since the creation of a lone Islamic Democratic State of Pakistan in 1947, our leaders viewed towards USA as helping partner with lot of expectations and sincerity. The visit to USA by Pakistan’s first Prime Minister Mr. Liaquat Ali Khan in 1951was a milestone as Pakistan became considerably close to United States. Unfortunately the extended hand of friendship and trust was reciprocated by backstabbing and opportunistic approach by the USA.
There have been numerous occasions when Pakistani people were left alone in the middle by USA even after taking full advantage of the situation and taking unconditional help and support. Many times this help was rendered to USA to overcome serious issues regarding the security interests and the elevation of influence of the lone superpower in the region, but the price paid by the Pakistani people is beyond all the limits. On this allegation may be USA would make us realize that they extended huge aid packages to Pakistan since its creation, but the reality is ugly as much of the aid went into the pockets of our vulture leaders and Army officials and the fruits of that Aid never reached the common citizens of Pakistan. USA knows about it and closed its eyes all because the sold out leaders of Pakistan were ready to bow to every demand of the Superpower, without considering its impact on the people of Pakistan.
Most importantly, the whole era of Soviet Invasion to Afghanistan and later, US invasion, Pakistan always became active partner of USA to achieve their targets. In reply Pakistan was treated more like a tissue paper or may be even less than that. Presently, the tone of US Administration is breaking many hearts in Pakistan and the assault on national integrity and esteem is making things beyond tolerance to many sincere Pakistanis.
It is not fair to put all the blame on USA. Our leadership is also responsible for what we are facing now. The leaders, who have their vaults filled up with enormous wealth gathered by embezzling the Aid from USA and other Countries and from the Tax Revenue of hard working Pakistanis, may not think about the grievances of poor Pakistanis. Many are always ready with their villas furnished outside Pakistan and they will just fly out if they find their rest house (Pakistan) burning.
I am seeing the verbal assault by USA on Pakistani Army and Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) in particular as a final round of action to collapse Pakistan completely. Presence of India in Afghanistan and controlling the unrest inside Pakistan is not hidden from the US’s vision. But the mutual interest of USA and India supercedes all values and the sacrifices of Pakistani people that could not earn any space in the heart of US administration which is almost ready to knock hard on the nose of Pakistan’s integrity. Our Leaders cannot defend our boundaries which have become easy targets of Drones. Our Army Chief is a frequent visitor to USA and he is unable to say a single word about the lethal attacks by US missiles inside our territory. Even the opposition leaders are heavily bribed and sold out as their voice is very minimal to raise the issue of Drone attacks. The Parliament is also completely silent on this issue. Those who were able to raise some voice like Imran Khan of Tehreek-e-Insaf and Qazi Hussain Ahmed of Jamaat-e-Islami are sitting outside the parliament due to their own mistakes and foolish approach. Right now people of Pakistan are helpless and have become vulnerable prey to terrorist’s attacks, almost daily in different parts of the country. Baitullah Mahsud and other so called Talibani leaders are acting exactly according to the guidelines provided by their masters who rented them to legitimize USA’s possible invasion in Pakistan. Neither Osama Bin Ladin nor Beitullah Mehsud acted to be loyal to Islam or Pakistan or Muslim Ummah in particular. I think till the whole Ummah would be able to realize the real face of these slaughterers the time may have run out. If Baitullah Mehsud and Al-Qaeda were really the well wishers of Muslims, they would have not washed their hands with the blood of their own Muslim brothers like we saw in Lahore where defenseless Police recruits were brutally killed by Mehsud’s men. The acceptance of responsibility of 30/3 attacks is a biggest slap on the face of those Muslim brothers who support Taliban very strongly. In fact I confess that my sympathies were also with the Talibans of Pakistan, but Lahore attacks and subsequent admittance of Mehsud to be responsible of these attacks, changed my whole vision.
We now see the houses of our own Muslim brothers burning in Swat and Northern Areas, the brutal rule of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan is pushing Pakistan to the stone age and we are watching that helplessly. Taliban do not represent Islam by any means and their actions are purely to defame Islam and make it a hated religion for the whole world. It must be investigated thoroughly that who is funding these killers and who is behind their brutal game inside Pakistan. I have full respect for our agencies, police, paramilitary and armed forces as they are shedding their blood to fight against the forces who are acting on the commands of the enemies of Pakistan. We need to keep ourselves away from Talibans of Pakistan in particular who are doing no service to this nation but adding to our problems.
Present leadership of Pakistan is the continuation of Musharraf’s era when Pakistan lost every thing in the way of serving USA. Unfortunately the sacrifices of Pakistani people are of no value in view of the US President Barrack Obama. The allegations on Pakistans forces and Intelligence agencies are growing every day, Drone attacks and interference in Pakistan’s internal matters are also increasing intensively,. The wall of Pakistan which was once very strong is now showing visible signs of cracks. People of Pakistan are themselves responsible for the agony as they tend to choose same tested and failed leadership again, again and again. We are actually paying price of our own faults and weaknesses. I fear that the time is quite near when we will be completely over run by our enemies. If we would not open our eyes and take the streets to display our anger, God forbid Pakistan would be wiped out of the world map before the end of this year.
It is time we should seek refuge with Allah and pray that He may show us clear way to help us defend our homeland from conspiracies and aggression by our enemies. Ameen!

If the USA made a law that said all Muslim women were forbiden to wear hijab/niqab in public or they would get?
arrested and thrown in jail, would the Muslim women of the USA be obliged to follow the rules of this new law? I know Islam says that hijab is an obligation and so is niqab if you want to be like the mothers of the believers and follow Bukhari, but Islam also says that you have to follow the laws of the country you live in. So what to do if this were to happen?
If such a law were ever passed in the United States, it would be a signal to all the people of assault on the rights of all Americans as it is a clear abandonment of the 1st Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. It is both violation of religious freedom and freedom of speech. (Speech is defined by American courts to include much more than verbal and written words.)
It is important for all people to remember that "the law of the land" to be followed above all other "law" is the law of Allah. Your first allegiance is always to Allah's laws, not human laws.
The protests from non-hijab wearing Americans and Supreme Court ruling would quickly overturn the law, just as was done with laws passed saying You Can't burn the American flag. If there were substantial numbers of Americans in support of such a law, that will cause stronger protest in reaction. I suspect it would actually lead to many women (and men, this is protest and symbolic speech we are talking about here) to suddenly put on hijab in open protest and defiance. Americans are sometimes Very Good at open protest and defiance, if there imaginiation and righteous indignation is captured.

Made In Japan: The Remastered Edition $5.61 Judging by the thick chugging that Deep Purple pull off as they enter "Highway Star" on this classic 1972 set, this band was of an era that appreciated size in sound. Ritchie Blackmore's guitar and Jon Lord's keyboards owned the evenings on the quintet's Japanese tour, giving the band a front-end density that kept drummer Ian Paice's snap heavy and loud. On tour in support of the album Machine Hea... |

Sweet Dreams Are Made of This (Dlx) $5.10 Singer Annie Lennox and guitarist Dave Stewart first received notice in the Tourists, scoring a big U.K. hit in 1979 with a cover of Dusty Springfield's "I Only Want to Be With You." Emerging as the Eurythmics in 1981, Lennox's cabaret-tinged vocal style and Stewart's left-of-center songs took a while to mesh, but when they finally did, with the haunting, hook-filled 1983 No. 1 single, "Sweet Drea... |

Made in the U.S.A. $13.99 Lutie McFee's history has taught her to avoid attachments . . . to people, to places, and to almost everything. With her mother long dead and her father long gone to find his fortune in Las Vegas, 15-year-old Lutie lives in the god-forsaken town of Spearfish, South Dakota with her twelve-year-old brother, Fate, and Floy Satterfield, the 300-pound ex-girlfriend of her father. While Lutie shoplifts for kicks, Fate spends most of his time reading, watching weird TV shows and worrying about global warming and the endangerment of pandas. As if their life is not dismal enough, one day, while shopping in their local Wal-Mart, Floy keels over and the two motherless kids are suddenly faced with the choice of becoming wards of the state or hightailing it out of town in Floy's old Pontiac. Choosing the latter, they head off to Las Vegas in search of a father who has no known address, no phone number and, clearly, no interest in the kids he left behind. Made in the U.S.A. is the alternately heartbreaking and life-affirming story of two gutsy children who must discover how cruel, unfair and frightening the world is before they come to a place they can finally call home. Unabridged on 8 compact discs. Read by Cassandra Morris. |
