Where's the best place to buy alcohol in Chicago?
I live in Chicago, not far from the loop. A friend's 21st birthday is coming up and I want to get him a really nice bottle of alcohol, but I don't want to break the bank. Binny's and Sam's are always good places to try. I usually go to Uncork It Chicago as they are much closer to my place than any other liquor store. If you want a good deal, make sure you also check basic grocery stores like Jewel and Dominicks. Sometimes they have the best price on alcohol. It might be best to buy 2 750mL bottles, say one tequila and one rum, rather than one 1.75L bottle. More variety
