Ultrasonic cleaning tanks and UV curing lamp aid watch makers
The Elma Sonic with Basket and Lid is an ultrasonic cleaning tank to clean objects without scratching them. It can clean out even joints and splits effectively and so it is suitable for watch bracelets and watch cases. It has safe options for water splashing and overheating. It also has a timer and a tank chamber made of Stainless Steel. The volume capacity of the tank is .8 litres and it weighs 1.6 KG. With the Elma Top Quality Clean Box, it is possible to achieve effective cleaning at reasonable cost. The unit is Light Weight and compact in size. It has two cleaning beakers that can be used for cleaning different materials simultaneously while avoiding scratches. It comes with plastic tweezers for removing the objects from the tank. The box can be mounted on to the wall if needed.

It has features like auto start at a chosen temperature, and auto heat reduction if the fluid level falls below safe level and a safety cut off after 12 hours of continued usage. The S-line range of ultrasonic tanks from Elma has powerful transducers that are good for leaning heavily soiled items. Apart from the standard functions of the 2.75 litres model, it has de-gas function to enhance cavitation after fluid changes and a built-in drain-off tap and carrying handle. There is a larger tank size in this model of 5.75 litres. Elma has Ultrasonic tank lids made of sturdy plastic to fit different tank sizes.
Connoisseurs Ultrasonic Cleaning Fluid refill is a refill fluid to be used with all Connoisseurs ultrasonic baths. It is especially effective on diamonds, gold and precious stones because it is a delicate concentrate. Elma Clean 85 is an ultrasonic cleaning fluid that can be used in all ultrasonic cleaning tanks for precious metals. Buffing wheels are also used to clean watch parts. They give a satin smooth finish on all metals like a factory finish. Robur Bufflex Wheel made in France has three surfaces for multi surface polishing. It has a secure centre piece that is leather stitched.
The Deluxe Ultra Violet Glue Curing Lamp is used for bonding watch glasses with UV curing adhesives. The powerful UV lamp is a compact, risk free and EC approved solution for the setting of watch glasses. With this lamp, ultra fast setting times are assured. It has three settings for different curing needs. It is light weight and sturdy.

Filamentous Algae in garden fish ponds, how to control or eliminate it?
I have an ultra violet lamp on my filter that supposedly kills one cell algae and bacteria. BUT, now I have a problem with long green filamentous algae growing on every surface, even water lilly stems, new leaves, pump tubing, everywhere. It will smother the fine leafed potted plants soon.
Can you recommend any solutions from personal experience?

ALAIN..how do you add ozone? I already have a UV lamp to kill one celled algae. I will add salt and disrupt the surface of water to reduce sunlight penetration.
